Installation Process

Most countertop projects move from approval to installation through a six-step process, with installation typically scheduled 1–2 weeks after final on-site measurements are confirmed.

Process Overview

  • Showroom Visit (Optional but Recommended)
  • Estimate Creation
  • Approval & Deposit
  • On-Site Measure
  • Slab Configuration (Optional)
  • Installation

This six-step process is designed to move clients from material selection and estimating through final fabrication and installation with clear checkpoints along the way.

Introduction

Our countertop process begins with project planning and material review, then moves through estimating, approval, field verification, and production. Final installation is typically scheduled 1–2 weeks after the on-site measure is completed and all details are confirmed.

What to Expect

  • A showroom visit is optional, but it helps clients compare material, edges, and finishes before committing.
  • The estimate stage can begin from sketches and measurements or by requesting an in-person estimate.
  • A signed approval and 50% deposit are required before production is scheduled.
  • The on-site measure is the point where final dimensions and fabrication details are confirmed.
  • Slab configuration is optional and may be used when layout direction or stone movement matters.
  • Installation is commonly completed 1–2 weeks after the field measure, subject to final scheduling and project conditions.

Step-by-Step Installation Timeline

From showroom guidance to final installation, here is how the countertop process typically moves from start to finish.

01

Showroom Visit

Clients may visit the showroom to review stone options, edge profiles, and finishes with guidance from the team. This step is optional but recommended for clients who want to compare materials and make more informed design decisions.

02

Estimate Creation

Clients provide sketches and measurements, or request an in-person estimate. An itemized estimate is then prepared based on the material, layout, edge selection, and project scope.

03

Approval & Deposit

Once the client approves the project, the invoice is signed and a 50% deposit is collected. This allows the install date to be scheduled, material to be reserved, and production planning to begin.

04

On-Site Measure

A technician visits the site to confirm final measurements and verify all fabrication details before production. This stage is used to lock in accuracy and confirm the final scope of work.

05

Slab Configuration

Clients may inspect or configure the slab at the shop before fabrication begins. This step is optional and is especially useful when clients want to review layout movement, veining, or slab orientation.

06

Installation

Installation is generally scheduled 1–2 weeks after final on-site measurements are confirmed. Final payment is due following installation and the client inspection.
